Favorite Things Friday

Wow, it's Friday again! & time to tell you some of my favorite things. This certainly has been a long week for me and I'm glad it's finally Friday!

1. Haribo Frogs. When I was a little girl, I lived in Germany. (My Dad was in the military and we were stationed there.) One of my fondest memories is eating all the yummy German candies. The gummy frogs were my favorite. They are usually hard to find around here, unless you go to the German Bakery. So, I was really excited today when I was shopping around Target and found some. They were a yummy treat for this stressed out Mommy.

There was really something else I was going to add. In fact, there were 2 other things I had thought of before I sat down to write this. Maybe I should really start doing this when I think of this stuff instead of waiting. Oh well, if I think of the other things I will add them later.

Update 5/2/09... Ok, so I remembered the other two things I was going to write.

2. Gold Canyon Bookmarks. Gold Canyon is a candle company for those of you who don't know. They make really great smelling candles. They have bookmarks as well that smell great. I bought some at a party and have been using one in the book that I'm reading. It is just a nice little treat to open you book to read and have a pleasant scent to enjoy while you read.

3. Blue Bell Ice Cream. I know, I'm always listing something good to eat. I can't help it. Those of you far away from Texas may have never heard of Blue Bell, but they really do make the "best ice cream in the country"!

You can buy Haribos by the case from Amazon.com, any variety that they make. I used to get them for Dave last deployment. Glad to hear those bookmarks are so nice, I gave all mine away as Christmas gifts. And yes Blue Bell is delicious. I love the Birthday Cake flavor.
