Zander has been really facsinated with robots lately. I think it all started when he played a Wow, Wow Wubsy game on Nickjr.com where you put the robots together like a puzzle. Anyhow, I saw an idea on the No Time for Flashcards blog to make magnetic robots out of foam. We didn't do it exactly like they did, but we did cut up pieces for a robot and glued them together. Zander really enjoyed making his robot, and he is very proud of it as you can see in the picture. We also checked out this robot book from the library last week and we have read it several times. It is Hello Robot by Robert Staake ....

you are definitely a hands on mom! should i ever have to have kids, i'm shipping mine off to some expensive boarding school in new england!
