My friend, Andrea, invited us to go with her to the Whistle Stop Park in Temple today. I was pretty excited to go. I've been wanting to take Zander there, but never have. It is a nice, big park next to the train station. The trains go right by, next to the park, so all the kids can watch them drive by. Zander was very excited to see them. He had a great time and really enjoyed playing with his friends. & of course he didn't want to leave. I'm sure we will return because it was a fun place! I love the picture of him looking over the fence at the train.

I'm glad you all liked it. We had a fun time with all our friends there.
We always take our first grade classes to that park and the museum for our field trip each year. I hope Zander got to play on the big trains sitting there.
The park is really nice in the summer because it has an area that sprays a cool mist of water for the kids to cool off in.
You are right, it is a nice park.
