FTF

1. Mexican Hot Chocolate. I tried this on Wednesday when we had the freeze here in Texas. It was very yummy! The recipe was on my package of instant hot chocolate. You just add 1/4 tsp of Cinnamon and vanilla each to the cup and walla, yummy Mexican Hot Chocolate. Very flavorful!

2. Oreo Cakesters. Zander picked these up at the store the other day and I decided to let him have them. I have to say, I ate most of them. You'll have to try them to taste the goodness.

3. Crock pot Dinners. This week, I used my brand new crock-pot 3 times! It's great for these cold days. I made a beef stew on Monday, some Pasta Fagoli last night and I made some Caramel Apple Cider for my party today. I guess that's only 2 dinners, but it's nice to have it all ready in the evening when everyone is hungry and doesn't want to wait for someone to cook. I'll have to get some more recipes to use it more often.

Sorry they were all food this week. I'm not hungry, I promise :) Just wanted to share my tasteful findings. Have a great friday, everyone!

Ummm.. thats fake Mexican Hot Chocolate, which is more correctly known as Champurrado. That, sis, is delicious. I'm pretty sure it includes browned flour or cornmeal in it. Some sort of thickening agent. It's not good unless you buy from someone with a shopping basket, ladling it from a cooler. :D

I agree with all three. That hot chocolate sounds good. Oreo Cakesters are yummy! I think they even have 100 calorie packs. I liked the cider today too. I used the crockpot on Tuesday too, it was so cold out. I made Chicken Tortilla soup. Another favorite here is White Chicken Chili.
