We went to Temple Square and took a tour of the Conference Center. We planned on doing more there, but ran out of time. None the less we enjoyed our tour. We had the best tour guide and got to be in a tour all by ourselves. I guess when you bring kids they let you do that :) They (the kids) were really well behaved though.

A picture of the Salt Lake City Temple from on top of the Conference Center. There are different plants on top that represent the different directions of the world, i.e. North, South, East, West. The plant in this picture would be the ones that grow in Texas, that is why I took this picture.

i have been on this same tour a couple of times. of course i went with the family and i also went with my friend john when we were TDY in utah. i always enjoyed the tours. i'm glad you guys had a great time :)
You are taking some fantastic pictures. I love seeing all the cool things you did on vacation. That chandelier and fountain are beautiful!
