Our 4 Christmases

Since all of our family lives close, we usually spend several days doing Christmas so everyone gets a turn to be with us. The day before Christmas Eve, we spent the evening with Papa. He got the boys a new John Deer Truck to ride around in. They loved it! Zander had fun driving it around. I'm sure he would have stayed out there all night if we let him. Mason liked it too, but he isn't big enough yet to drive it, so Papa got him a Little Peoples Farm.

Christmas Eve was Grammy's turn. She made us a nice meal and we enjoyed the evening opening gifts and visiting with each other. Zander made out in the Thomas the Train department. It was fun to watch Zander open all the presents, he was even excited about the white boxes that the presents were in. Mason didn't really know what to do. He mostly just watched his big brother go crazy over all the gifts.

Christmas morning, Zander was really excited to go see what Santa brought him. He was excited to see Santa brought a little more than he asked for. Mason was happy to see his new toys as well. He really liked the Chatter Elmo that Santa gave him. After seeing what Santa brought us, we opened gifts with my Mom, sister and older brother. It was a little chaotic with Zander trying to open all the presents. We enjoyed it though and had a great time eating dinner at Mimi's and going to the movies together.

Saturday after Christmas, we drove to my younger brother's house to exchange gifts with them. All the boys were excited to see each other and they had fun opening their gifts and playing. It was nice to have my whole family together. We enjoyed visiting with each other and playing with the boys.
