Wreaths for the Veterans

I was able to attend a ceremony at the Veterans Cemetery to put out wreaths for the veterans. A local realtor decide to start a program to make it possible for all the graves at the Veterans Cemetery to have a wreath placed by the headstone. The program actually began last year when the Wreaths Across America organization sent six wreaths to the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery and every other veterans cemetery in the United States to be laid in honor of each military service branch and POW/MIA. This lady believed that there should be a wreath laid at each grave and within three days, she had gathered enough wreaths and volunteers to make it happen. The program was very nice. There were many people there in support of our veterans. The cemetary looks beautiful with all the holiday wreaths laid out.
