Saturday, all the boys got their hair cut, including little Mason. It's taken him a long time to grow it, but it was finally long and scraggly in the back & needed a trim. He sat there on Daddy's lap very nicely & did not cry at all. I won't say he liked it, but he didn't hate it, either. He looks so handsome with his newly cropped hair. I'll have to get a better picture to post of his neat and trim look.

Truck Day #2
Our local library hosted a "Truck Day" for the kids last week. There were all kinds of trucks for the kids to climb in and play with. There was dump trucks, construction vehicles, buses, garbage trucks, moving trucks, and even a mobile news van. Zander had a blast. He was repeating all day long, "It's truck day, truck day, truck day!" I thought it was so cute. Zander and Mason, both, really had a great time climing in all the different trucks pretending to drive them. They also really enjoyed the free popcorn, it always a favorite snack!

You Lucky Dog!!
Mason has a little puppy that he adores. He carries it around, he loves on it, he sleeps with it, & I don't think he could live without it. I just love how this picture shows how much he cares about his little blue doggy.

Fun with GG
Two weeks ago, we spent a few days in San Antonio with my Grandma, or GG as Zander calls her. She took us to a playground down the street the day we got there and made tacos, one of Zander's favorite meals, for dinner. That evening, we got to visit with Steve and meet his fiance, Bethany. We spent the next day at the zoo. The zoo was very large and Zander really enjoyed looking at all the animals. His favorites were the elephant and the flamingos. Mason was so cute. Everytime he saw an aminal he would growl at them. I guess he things all animals growl. He really enjoyed looking at the fish. After spending a few hours in the zoo, we got some tickets to ride the train around the park. This of course was Zander's favorite part since he loves trains. On the way home, we stopped to eat at McDonalds to eat and let Zander play. By the time we got home, I think everyone was worn out. The kids were both asleep by 8:30. In the morning, Grandma made pancakes and we left around noon. We all had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Bowling for Fun!
Last night, we went out as a family to have some fun. I've been wanting to take Zander bowling 'cause I thought he would really like it. I was right, he did & he did pretty good for his 1st time, too. Mason was a little hard to keep contained with all the balls around. He just wanted to get a hold of them. We had a great time, though!!
Check out Zander...
Zander's turn!! Look at him with that little tongue hanging out. Anytime he is really into what he's doing, he has it stuck out the side of his mouth. It just cracks me up!!Check out Zander...
There he goes. He would just run up there and drop the ball.
I guess he like watching it from a far. I guess if he did stay up there he would be standing there for a while since the ball rolled so slowly.
Well, I hope you enjoyed taking a look at our family fun night!

52 of 52 (YAY! I did it!)

Well, this is my last week of 52 weeks! I now have 52 weeks worth of pictures of me and my boys. I'm gonna' keep trying to get pictures of myself doing our everyday activities for the "Shoot Me" challenge, but it may not be every week.
Anyway, these are some pictures of the boys and I in the backyard. It's been a pretty nice week and we have spent a lot of our extra time out there. I took them using the self timer on my camera. Zander loves to take pictures like that, as you can tell by how nicely he is posing for the pictures. Thank you for checking in on us!
