Mason's Room

I've had a lot of people ask what I'm decorating the baby's room in. So, I took a few pictures to show. I do not have the crib set yet, so I will add that when I get it. We are not changing the paint or border, it will be the same as what Zander had. The new crib set is in neutral baby colors, including, blue, green, yellow, and brown. I made some curtains & a diaper stacker to match the quilt & skirt. The quilt has the alphabet on it with some animals next to the letters, like a giraffe for the G, lion for L, puppy for P, etc. I have a picture from the eBay listing that I ordered it from, but it isn't very good. So, the room is kind of a mix of stars & moons with animals. But like I said it isn't finished so I'll post new pictures when the room is ready. Here are the ones I have for now.

Baby's Name

Jason and I have agreed on a name for the baby. His name will be Mason Garrett Woolverton. I've started getting the room ready & couldn't wait to hang up his name, so I've got a picture of it to show you. When the room is finished, I'll post some pictures of it.

I'm A Big Kid Now!

Zander recently got a new "big boy bed." We decided to use his crib for the new baby & get him a twin size bed. He really seems to love the big bed. We have also moved all his toys in with him. I was worried he might stay up during his nap time or at night playing with his stuff, but so far he has been really good. He just goes to sleep. In addition to the toys, we moved the extra TV in there too. I'm not sure if he likes that or not. He would much rather stay out in the living room to watch TV. Anyhow, I took a few pictures of his room so everyone could see his "new" room.

The Big Day

Yesterday, I went for an OB check-up. The doctor said everything looks good and the baby is growing as expected. She also told me that the ultrasound tech was still unable to get all the pictures needed of the spine, so we will probably be getting another ultrasound before the baby arrives. She alos gave me a date for the c-section. So, unless the baby decides to make it earlier, the baby will be born on December 4th, 2008. I started a countdown with this date to help everyone keep track of the big day!

Sea World 2008

My family took a trip to Sea World in San Antonio after being in town for my cousin's wedding. Zander seemed to really enjoy the shows and he was on his best behavior! His favorite show was the ski show with the boats. After watching this show he said, "I like boats." He also really liked looking at the fish and frogs at the Coral Reef. As he was admiring the poison frogs in their tank, a lady walked up to see them. He told her, "NO, my frogs!" After our visit at Sea World, we met Steve for dinner at the Rudy's BBQ right there. Zander feel asleep while we were standing in line to get our food. He slept all through dinner and most of the way home.

Name Our New Little Man

Jason & I are having a really hard time picking a name for our new baby boy. I really love the name Garrett, but he isn't in love with it. His choice is Chance, but I don't really like that name. So, we have two other names that we both like but are not our favorites. They are Mason or Maddox. So, today I added a poll to the top of our page so you all can vote on your favorite. Let me know what you think of the names, just leave your response under comments for this post. I really would love to hear what everyone thinks.

Family Photo at the San Antonio Temple

My cousin, Rachel, got married at the San Antonio Temple on August 2nd. She was beautiful, but I want to show off my little family in front of the Temple. Zander was fascinated with the water fall/fountain, so it was a challenge trying to keep him out of it. Anyway, here are some pictures of us. (& one of the newlyweds :))

4 Generations

Mom & I went to San Antonio in July to help Grandma with Rachel's bridal shower. While we were there, we took a 4 generation picture of Grandma, Mom, Me, & Zander. I just copied from Mom's camera & thought everyone might enjoy it. So, here it is, 4 generations....

Car Seat Renovation

I decided to make a new cover for my infant carseat. I really didn't want to buy a new one because they are so expensive. This one has been used for four kids already & I thought it needed a change. I am very proud of the finished product, so I had to show it off. I picked the old ragged one apart & used it for a pattern to make the new one. Zander helped by picking out the cute train fabric at the store. Anyhow, what do you think?
