4 Years Old

My little Zander turned 4 years old last Thursday. We celebrated by having pizza, cake, and presents with family on Thursday evening. He wanted a "Thomas Birthday," so I made a cake and topped it with a candy railroad track and placed his trains on top. When he saw it, he asked why are my toys on the cake and where is my number 4. Once I told him I had made a track for the trains to sit on he was ok with that, but he pointed to the corner of the cake and said, "the 4 goes right here." So that's where I put it.
He had a great day, and loved all his presents. Happy, Happy Birthday, Zander!!! I LOVE YOU!

Little Artists

My boys love to come into my space and play with all the artisy stuff they can find. It usually doesn't last long and they make a huge mess. But they are fun to watch.

Mason likes to draw on himself and dump everything out on the table. He is especially good at finding the stuff he should not have...like scissors.
Zander loves it all, the markers, the glue, cutting the paper, and using stickers. Some day he can teach Mason how to properly use the scissors :)

When he saw that I was taking pictures of him, he decided to hide. He thought placing those stickers over his eyes would do the trick. So, now you can't see him...can you?

Trampoline Fun

This is an activity the boys enjoy almost everyday. They both love to go outside and jump on our trampoline. This particular day, there was sand on it and they were running around it and sliding in it. I thought it would be fun to have a video of them playing on the trampoline, so I took one. Hope you enjoy it. It's nothing too special, just everyday enjoyment :)

Happy Mother's Day

I hope all you ladies had a very happy Mother's Day! Mine was pretty good. I got some little gifts from my kids, went to church, visited with my MIL, and went to my Mom's for dinner. My brother, Steve, was here and cooked us some delicious fajitas for dinner. It was nice to have a good home cooked meal that I didn't slave over :)

Before church, I had Jason snap a few pictures of the boys and I.
This is the nice one.

This is what you get when you tell Zander to smile big and and not close his eyes.

He just cracks me up!!

Fun at the Strawberry Farm

Last Friday, I took the kids to the Strawberry Farm with some friends. Zander picked a few strawberries, but lost interest very quickly. He did really enjoy feeding the horses, donkey and goats grass. Mason picked a few strawberries and decided he would rather eat them. So he sat down and had a taste. He didn't seem to feel very good, so he sat in the stroller most of the time. He did get out to pet the goats before we left. Here are some pictures from our visit.

Shoot Me! ~My Silly Zander~

Forever In Blue Jeans

This is Zander and I. Last Wednseday, he insisted on wearing his shirt backwards. It may not have been so bad if he wasn't wearing a polo shirt. I asked him to go look at himself in the mirror to see his shirt. He did and asked, "Mommy, is this crazy?" To which, I replied, "Yes, Zander, it's a little crazy." He proceeded to tell me that he liked it and just wanted to wear it that way. I laughed, and reminded him we were going to the park to see his friends. He didn't mind, he told me that they would like it. So, he proudly wore his shirt like this all day, with the colar up and all because that is just how he wanted it. And, I might add, all his friend's parents told him how much they liked his shirt....so, I guess he was right. *sigh*
